Jim graduated from the University of Illinois in 1995 with his degree in Civil Engineering. Upon graduating, he took his first position as a Superintendent with a local commercial contractor. His knowlege and expertise in general contracting and construction management grew with each project and position, from project superintendent to Sr. Project Manager, having managed many large scale jobs including hospitals, high schools, factories, multi-family and senior living developents, banks, retail, medical offices, and many more, across multiple states including Illinois, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon and Texas.
In 2017, Jim decided to branch out on his own, opening Swartz Construction. Today, he has successfully built a solid reputation of excellence and consistency.
